The Rensselaer Athletics Hall of Fame has inducted five alumni to the Class of 2020: Julianne Bass ’09, Marc Cavosie ’03, Matt Murley ’02, Alex Penny ’11, and Sonja van der Bliek ’11.

“The Hall of Fame Class of 2020 is one of the most accomplished in the history of RPI Athletics,” says Lee McElroy, associate vice president and director of athletics. “They are being honored for their excellence in athletics, academics, and leadership. They truly represent the Rensselaer family, which continues to transform and change the world.”

• A school record for single season victories in softball (36-6 in 2006)
• 3 seasons with 20 wins in men’s hockey
• 2 NCAA tournament appearances in men’s soccer
• 9 all-league honors
• 2 year-end conference awards
• 300 combined wins, with a .617 winning percentage
